John was a target for Boro boss Mark Stimson during the summer |
Stevenage have signed former Charlton winger Alistair John, while allowing defender Luke Oliver to join Blue Square Premier rivals Salisbury. John, 19, was released by Charlton during the summer.
Oliver, 24, will spend a three-month loan period with Salisbury which will allow him to retain match fitness.
Also leaving Broadhall Way on loan is young striker Tyron Sealey, who has joined Southern Premier Division side Hitchin Town for a month.
Boss Mark Stimson revealed earlier in the week that Oliver and fellow defender Damian Batt, 22, could leave on loan.
