Stevenage have agreed an undisclosed five-figure fee with Southend for Shrimpers winger Mitchell Cole. Cole, 21, who played under Borough boss Mark Stimson at Grays, has made five appearances for Southend this season and had a loan spell at Northampton.
He is expected to tie up his move to Broadhall Way in time for Saturday's game with Gravesend & Northfleet.
Meanwhile, Borough have loaned striker Chris Sullivan to Conference South side Braintree Town, reports BBC Essex.
