Northampton have signed Southend winger Mitchell Cole on a month's loan. The 19-year-old former Grays man has made just two substitute appearances for the Shrimpers this season.
"We didn't want him to go, but Mitchell feels he needs games at this moment, which we can't guarantee," manager Steve Tilson told Southend's website.
"He's going for a month, we will monitor the situation and hopefully he can come back ready to push for the first team again."
