St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson has signed Rangers striker Rory Loy on loan until the end of the season.
Loy spent the second half of last season on loan with Dunfermline, scoring three times in 18 appearances.
The 21-year-old began his career with Kilmarnock before signing for the Glasgow club in 2006.
Buddies boss MacPherson said: "He's got quality, he's got a lot of pace, is very direct and I think he's looking forward to the challenge."
Despite the capture of Loy, MacPherson is still actively looking to add to one or two more players to his squad before the transfer deadline on Monday.
"We're grateful to Rangers and Walter Smith and the rest of the staff in allowing it to happen," he said of Loy.
