Both Brady and O'Donnell have committed for another year
St Mirren midfielders Garry Brady and Stephen O'Donnell have signed one-year contract extensions to stay at the club until June 2010.
Brady, 32, arrived in Paisley in July 2006 from Dundee, and O'Donnell, 25, signed from Clyde six months later.
A number of boss Gus MacPherson's first-team squad, including striker Jim Hamilton, are out of contract.
The club's general manager Brian Caldwell is working on new deals for players while MacPherson is on holiday.
Brady, who has also played with Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle and Portsmouth, has made 89 appearances for the Scottish Premier League club.
But O'Donnell has struggled to make an impact at the club since joining the Paisley club, especially after missing eight months of last season through injury.
St Mirren manager MacPherson is on record as saying he wants more investment in players for the next league campaign, after narrowly avoiding relegation.
