Arsenal midfielder Sanchez Watt has left Southend United after completing his one month loan spell at the club.
The England Under-19 international made four starts during his spell at Roots Hall which was hampered by head and ankle injuries.
Blues manager Steve Tilson told the club's website: "He feels it is best for him to go back to Arsenal for the remainder of the season.
"He wanted to be around their first team in the hope he will be involved."
Watt has played in three Carling Cup matches for Arsenal this season, scoring in a third round victory over West Bromwich Albion last September.
