Southend United have paid their outstanding tax bill of more than £2.1m, the High Court has confirmed.
The court's declaration follows a statement posted on the club's website on Saturday by chairman Ron Martin announcing the repayment of the bill.
The Blues had been threatened with administration proceedings and being docked 10 league points had they failed to settle the matter.
A more detailed statement from the club is expected later this week.
