Two Southend United youngsters have signed new deals with the club.

Belgian 19-year-old Franck Moussa has penned a one-year extension to his existing contract.

The midfielder, who has made six league starts for the Blues this season, will now be at the club until the end of the 2009/2010 season.

Full-back Jonny Herd, 18, has been offered his first professional contract with the club and has put pen to paper on a two-year deal.
