Southend United defender Tom Hopkins has joined Southern League side Cheshunt on work experience.The under-18's captain will spend four weeks with the non-league outfit as they attempt to escape relegation.
He has linked up with Southend team-mate striker Rhys Henry who is already at Cheshunt.
Hopkins joins Henry, James Lindie, David Obaze and Luke Thurlbourne on work experience spells away from the League One club.
