 Walker has not started for Charlton's senior side |
Southend have signed Charlton striker James Walker from on loan until the end of the season with the possibility of a permanent deal in the summer. The 20-year-old had agreed a �200,000 move to Roots Hall in January but the deal collapsed when abnormalities with his heart were discovered.
Walker had a loan spell earlier this season with Yeovil.
He was was released by Alan Curbishley in the summer of 2006 but came back on board at Charlton under Iain Dowie.
