Southampton have completed the signing of Scunthorpe United striker Jonathan Forte for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year deal and will link up with former Iron manager Nigel Adkins again.
"He's willing, he's got a great attitude and I think he'll fit in excellently," Saints boss Adkins told the official club website.
"He's got a good physical presence about himself and we're delighted that he can come and join us."
Forte began his career at Sheffield United and spent time on loan at Doncaster Rovers and Rotherham United during his time there.
He was signed by Scunthorpe in 2007 by Adkins, who was manager at the time.
The striker also spent time on loan at Notts County in recent years.
