Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman has said he is uncertain what the future holds for him, following interest from Sheffield United.
Kevin Blackwell's side are believed to have made an undisclosed bid for the 22-year-old but Surman said it has not gone any further yet.
He told BBC Radio Solent: "I haven't thought about it too much until it actually moves forward.
"Until the takeover at Saints goes through, then we're in a bit of limbo."
Pinnacle Group are currently undertaking due diligence at the St Mary's Stadium, having been granted a 21-day period as exclusive bidders.
"At this stage I haven't thought any further than going back to Southampton for pre-season on 22 June," Surnam added.
"When a serious bid comes in then that's when you have to review your situation, but we're not at that stage yet."
The former England Under-21 international was born in Johannesburg but raised in Southampton.
He made 48 appearances for Saints during their Championship relegation campaign in 2008-2009, scoring seven goals.
