 Burley hopes the club will gain stability soon |
Southampton manager George Burley has admitted the recent club statement about the possible sale of players in January has not helped squad morale. "The directors would require to trade players during the transfer window to generate funds for the remainder of the financial year," the statement read.
Burley told BBC Radio Solent: "When your players read that, it's not great.
"We have to focus on going out on the pitch but hope things settle down and we can gain stability to move forward."
