The 20-year-old striker scored four goals in 11 games for the Saints at the end of the campaign, after spending time on loan at Bournemouth and Yeovil.

"We've made him a number of different offers but he hasn't accepted them," said manager George Burley.

Burley is also waiting on news of defender Martin Cranie, 20, who is also out of contract and had a spell on loan at Yeovil during the season.
