Shrewsbury Town's team bus was involved in an accident with another car on the M6 following their 2-1 defeat by Torquay at the weekend.

The accident happened 10 miles from Cannock as Town were returning from Plainmoor on Saturday.

"It was quite a scary moment," manager Paul Simpson said in a video posted on the club's website.

"It took another couple of cars out and brought the M6 and probably the M5 to a standstill for a few hours."

West Midlands Ambulance service said they did not attend the scene because there were no injuries.
