Luke Daniels is now on loan from West Bromwich Albion for the entire season

Shrewsbury Town keeper Luke Daniels has had his loan from West Bromwich Albion extended until the end of the season.

Daniels, 21, was initially signed by Paul Simpson in August after ending last term at Mark McGhee's Motherwell.

Simpson told the club website: "He's shown what a good goalkeeper he is. It is one less headache for me.

"I'm delighted West Brom have agreed to the request. He's got everything in his locker. Anyone who has watched us over the season will have seen that."

Daniels, who signed an initial one-month loan deal in August before extending it to the end of January, has made 20 appearances for Town this season.
