Shrewsbury manager Gary Peters thought his side should have won by three clear goals after being denied by Grimsby. Danny North levelled in stoppage time as the Mariners held 10-man Shrewsbury to a 1-1 draw at Blundell Park.
Peters told BBC Radio Shropshire: "The performance is what you need to focus on. We were solid, we should have been 3-0 winners, or 3-1.
"We had great chances. We didn't take them and we're paying for that. We should have won comfortably."

And Peters has been delighted with the changes in his team since Ben Davies took over the captain's armband following Stewart Drummond's switch to Morecambe earlier this month.
"The performance last week against Morecambe and now against Grimsby show we're a changing team, not just in terms of style but in a change of attitude.
"The lads are fighting for each other, they're so connected. Ben Davies as captain has really brought them together and has made a massive difference.
"We were nowhere near the team we are now when Drums was captain because Ben Davies is in there with the lads, he's got his arms around them and he's helping them."
