Shrewsbury Town hope to finalise a sponsorship deal to name their new stadium, which remains unnamed since its opening at the start of the season. Finding a sponsor for the nameless ground at Oteley Road is a priority for the club's new MD Rob Bickerton.
"Ideally we want a local company or organisation to tie its name to the stadium," Bickerton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"It's vital we generate income to take the club forward on and off the pitch."
The club has deliberately shied away from 'The New Meadow', preferring to sever links with the old ground at Gay Meadow.
But after six months, the former Macclesfield chairman wants to make his mark on his new club.
"It's time to have a proper name", he stated.
Bickerton was appointed managing director of Shrewsbury last week.
