Peters did not want Edwards to leave Shrews on the cheap

The 21-year-old joined the Hatters in July after lapsing out of contract with the Shrews and the case had looked set to go before a transfer tribunal.

But although an agreement has been reached, there is a disparity between the figures quoted by both clubs.

The Shrews have stated a compensation fee of �400,000 but the Hatters have reported the fee as �250,000.
