Luton Town have completed the signing of Shrewsbury midfielder David Edwards on a three-year deal. The Wales Under-21 international, 21, is Kevin Blackwell's first acquisition as manager at Kenilworth Road.
As he is under 24, Shrewsbury are entitled to compensation, which could be settled by a tribunal if the clubs are unable to agree a fee.
Edwards who was also linked with Northampton and turned down a new contract with the Shrews in February,
He was a product of Shrewsbury's youth system and went on to make 101 starting appearances, scoring 15 goals.
