Sheffield Wednseday chairman set for investor meetings
Strafford is hopes investors will still find Wednesday attractive
Sheffield Wednesday chairman Lee Strafford is to meet with potential investors to discover the extent of interest in the club after relegation.
"We'll be focussing on investor discussions this week and in following weeks," he told BBC Radio Sheffield.
The Owls have been in talks with several potential investors as they seek to service their £20m debt.
"We go back to them and say 'that's the uncertainty gone, do you still want to do the deal?'," added Strafford.
Prior to relegation from the Championship on Sunday the club were confident of a deal with Club 9 Sport who confirmed an interest in the Owls in back in March.
