Former Sheffield Wednesday captain Steve Watson has not ruled out playing again but admits retiring would be the sensible option.
The 35-year-old has just been released by the Owls and is still recovering from hip surgery.
"I will get myself as fit as possible for life in general," Watson told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"I won't rule out playing again but I think the sensible option would be to call it quits."
