Sheffield Wednesday captain Lee Bullen has played his final game for the club, after being ruled out of Sunday's clash with Norwich due to injury.
The 37-year-old defender had to be substituted during Saturday's 3-1 win at Leicester with a hamstring injury.
Bullen will leave the club when his contract expires next month.
Manager Brian Laws said: "He couldn't last the game and that will rule him out for Sunday, but you can't knock him for the effort he's put in."
Bullen joined the Owls from Dunfermline in May 2004 and led the Owls to a League One play-off victory over Hartlepool at the Millennium Stadium in 2005.
Bullen's versatility has seen him play in every position for the Owls, including as a goalkeeper.
Injury has limited the club captain to a handful of appearances this season but Laws praised the way Bullen has played through the pain barrier.
"He's such an honest lad and he wants to give Sheffield Wednesday everything he's got."
