Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Burton O'Brien will miss the rest of the season with a torn thigh muscle.

The 27-year-old was injured in training and will miss the Owls' final two games against Leicester and Norwich.

Meanwhile, defender Lee Bullen, who will leave Wednesday when his contract expires in the summer, is determined to save the club from relegation.

"We'll get two victories before the end of the season, six points done and dusted," he told BBC Radio Sheffield.

Bullen is expected to return to the starting line-up for the final two games of the campaign against Leicester and Norwich due to Peter Gilbert's suspension.

Wednesday are currently third from bottom, but Bullen is confident they can survive.

He added: "We don't need to look at anyone else's fixtures, if we take care of business ourselves then we save ourselves."
