Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of winger Etienne Esajas from Vitesse Arnhem for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old left-sided player has signed a three-year contract at the Hillsbrough outfit and could play against Bristol City on Saturday.
He said: "I really want to be here. This is a big club and I think they should be back in the Premier League."
Boss Brian Laws added: "I am delighted to be able to sign a player of quality. He's impressed me immensely so far."
Laws continued: "Etienne is quick and moves the ball well and he is a very good crosser of the ball.
"He still has a year left on his contract but we have successfully agreed a fee with Vitesse and I believe he will become a crowd favourite at Sheffield Wednesday."
Esejas will fill a hole down the left for the Owls after midfielder Chris Brunt signed for West Brom for 3m two weeks ago.
