Sheffield Wednesday manager Paul Sturrock has confirmed that he will not be pursuing his interest in Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson. Carson played nine times on loan for the Owls last term but Sturrock is now looking for another player to replace want-away stopper David Lucas.
Sturrock told the club's website: "We can't wait and then find out a Premiership team comes in for him.
"I'm disappointed as he was a real benefit to us in the last nine games."
