Sheffield United have extended the loan of Sunderland midfielder Andy Reid until 3 January.
The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international moved to Bramall Lane last month on an emergency deal.
The ex-Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest man impressed during his four games for the Blades.
Reid's new loan agreement will expire following United's home match against Doncaster Rovers and does not include a recall clause.
