Lillis handed new Scunthorpe deal

Scunthorpe United

Scunthorpe United have given keeper Josh Lillis, currently on loan at Grimsby, a new four-year contract.

Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins told BBC Radio Humberside: "He's one we're trying to develop. He needs games -that's why he's on loan at Grimsby.

"All being well, we'll have a goalkeeper on our hands if and when Joe Murphy moves on."

Lillis, 22, is the son of former Iron striker Mark Lillis. He signed as a trainee in 2004.
