Sparrow has played nearly 350 games for Scunthorpe
Long-serving Scunthorpe United midfielder Matt Sparrow will have a testimonial game in his honour on Monday, 4 May.
The midfielder, 27, was signed as a youth-team player in 1998 and made his first-team debut the year after.
Sparrow told BBC Look North: "Hopefully the fans will be in good spirits and they all turn out for the game."
He has featured in more than 30 games this season as United push for a League One play-off place.
Sparrow has invited most of the players with whom he has shared a dressing room over the past decade.
He said: "I'm bringing back all the past Iron legends and hopefully it'll be a good turn out.
"I know there's about 30 players coming back, a lot of old ones and maybe their legs have gone a bit but hopefully it will be a good turn out. "
The players confirmed include Peter Beagrie and Tony Daws but former Iron full-back Andy Dawson cannot attend as he is involved in a Premier League fixture with Hull City.
