Scunthorpe United goalkeeper Joe Murphy has committed his future to the Iron regardless of which division they are in next season. The 26-year-old Dubliner told BBC Radio Humber: "I don't like the defeats and I don't want to get relegated.
"I'm going to enjoy the battle to try and stay up but next season, whether it's Championship or League One, I'm here and I'm here to stay.
"I came to Scunthorpe to play football and I'm enjoying it."
Murphy signed for United on a free transfer from Sunderland in May 2006 and established himself as one of Scunthorpe's key players in their promotion from League One.
Murphy added: "I have nearly got two seasons under my belt now, I'm enjoying it and as long as I'm playing I'm enjoying it."
