Jack Hobbs made his Premier League debut for Liverpool last month |
Liverpool defender Jack Hobbs has joined Scunthorpe on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old, who can also play in midfield, is likely to go straight into the squad for the squad for Saturday's Championship game against Burnley.
He joined Liverpool from Lincoln City in August 2005 when he signed a three-year professional contract.
The Liverpool reserve team captain has made five appearances for Rafa Benitez's side this season.
Hobbs made his senior debut almost three years ago as a 16-year-old for his former club Lincoln.
