Scunthorpe United striker Daniel McBreen has returned to Glanford Park following a month on loan at York City. He scored his second goal in five games for York in Sunday's 4-1 win at Farsley but returns to Scunthorpe after Ben May was recalled from his loan by Millwall.
"They are going to take Daniel back which is disappointing because I felt we might be able to get him for another month or two," said boss Billy McEwan.
"He's been a credit to Scunthorpe. His attitude here has been fantastic."
McEwan added on BBC Radio York: "He's been part of the group and a delight to work with."
