Nick Holmes's Salisbury side are just a point above the relegation zone
On-loan Salisbury defender Dave Winfield has returned to Aldershot.
The news is a blow to the Whites, who thought that the clubs had agreed an extension to keep the 20-year-old at the Blue Square Premier side.
Meanwhile, boss Nick Holmes felt his side should have beaten Barrow after Saturday's 0-0 draw, considering they had a man advantage in the second half.
"I've seen how many efforts we've had, with a bit more fortune I think we could have had three points," he said.
"I thought we were worth the victory," he added.
It was a really special day, the supporters made it really good for me
Salisbury captain-for-the-day Scott Bartlett
Salisbury are just one above the Blue Square Premier relegation places after the draw at fellow strugglers Barrow, who were reduced to 10 men just before the break.
"We didn't hit the back of the net and we should have a couple of times," admitted Holmes.
The game saw defender Scott Bartlett make his 400th appearance for the club and he was made captain for the day.
"It was a really special day, the supporters made it really good for me," he said.
"The gaffer surprised me by giving me the armband that meant a lot."
