Rushden & Diamonds have signed central defender Bobby Aisien, who had a trial at the club during pre-season.
The 20-year-old was involved in the 2-2 draw with Corby Town, and two Diamonds XI games. He has also played for the Nigerian Under-19 side.
Diamonds manager Justin Edinburgh told the club website: "I see him as a player for the future - he has done well in pre-season and in training.
"He will also provide good cover at centre-half."
Meanwhile, midfielder Jamie McGuinness has gone out on a month-long loan to Bedford Town. The 19-year-old joined the Diamonds from Luton Town prior to the 2008/09 season.
He has made five appearances to date, all as substitute.
