Rushden and Diamonds' new captain Jamie Stuart has said that he wants to have the best defence in the Blue Square Premier next season.
Stuart was handed the armband last week, soon after signing from Grays.
He told BBC Radio Northampton: "I was captain at Grays for a number of years, I've always been a leader.
"I want to try and get the best defensive record in the Blue Square Premier. I don't like conceding goals and I don't like losing."
