Rotherham United boss Ronnie Moore has bolstered his defence by signing Gavin Gunning on a month's loan from Blackburn Rovers.
The 19-year-old goes straight into the squad for Saturday's League Two game at home to Grimsby Town.
The versatile defender can play full-back or centre-half.
Moore said: "He's 6ft 2in and has pace. I have seen a lot of him and we are pleased that Blackburn have allowed him to come out."
