Rotherham United manager Mark Robins says striker Reuben Reid could still stay with the club next season, despite handing in a transfer request.
The former Plymouth player, 20, has been the subject of a failed £100,000 bid from League One side MK Dons after a prolific season.
Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Reid may end up being here for the season.
"We'll see what happens. We'll certainly want the market value for a player who has scored 19 goals."
Reid scored 19 goals for the Millers in 51 games in his first season at the club.

He made his professional debut for Plymouth in April 2006 and had loan spells at Kidderminster, Rochdale, Torquay, Wycombe and Brentford.
He left his loan spell at Rochdale early in February 2007 after an "internal" matter and was suspended by Plymouth for two weeks.
