Robins 'focused on Millers role'

Rotherham United manager Mark Robins has insisted he is just concentrating on his role, despite reports linking him to the Norwich City job.

The 39-year-old, who has guided the Millers to 20th in League Two despite a 17-point Football League penalty, spent three years at Carrow Road as a player.

"It's unwanted speculation," Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"We've got an important week and we want to totally focus on that and that's what I'm going to do."

He added: "I'm not interested in talking about anything but the game against Bournemouth on Saturday."

When asked if Norwich City had made an approach for him, Robins added: "Not that I know of."

Robins is seen as one of the rising stars in management after leading the Millers for the past 18 months, during which time they have been hit by two Football League penalties for going into administration.

"I'm trying to build something here at Rotherham and we've got two important games over the next week and I'm fully focused on that."
