Teenage midfielder Martin Donnelly has joined Rochdale on loan from Sheffield United for the rest of the season. Donnelly, 19, is a Northern Ireland Under-19 international and has been training with the League Two club.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill has compared Donnelly to former Leeds, Blackburn and Bolton wide-man Scott Sellars, who is on the Sheffield United coaching staff.
"Martin's done well in training and he gives us good options on the left-hand side," Hill told Dale's website.
