Ipswich Town expect to complete the permanent signing of midfielder Alan Quinn from Sheffield United in the next couple of days. Quinn, 28, joined Ipswich on loan last weekend and the two clubs have agreed a fee for his permanent move.
The Republic of Ireland international is now discussing personal terms and is due to undergo a medical.
Meanwhile, Ipswich have denied reports they have accepted a bid from Burnley for striker Alan Lee.
