Belief remains strong at Reading, says Noel Hunt

Reading striker Noel Hunt says the team is not lacking in self-belief despite being without a win since October.

The Royals face Coventry on Saturday, looking to end a run of four consecutive draws in the Championship.

Hunt told BBC Berkshire: "We've spoken about it among the players, that we're close to getting a very good result.

"If things click then I think we're close to giving someone a good doing over - we just need to get things right in the final third."

Hunt, who has scored three goals so far in his injury-hit season, said that he was reasonably happy with his own form.

"I'm a bit disappointed I didn't score in the last game [against Leeds United]," he said. "Performance-wise, I've done all right but I wanted a goal to cap it off.

"We're creating chances and we've scored in the last four of five games, apart from the Leeds game, so we are confident."
