Anderson played for League Two side Brentford in their 2-1 win in December
Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract with the club.
Andersen has yet to play for the Royals this season but made his league debut for Brentford as an emergency one-match loan signing.
The 20-year-old also played six games during loan spells last season at Rushden & Diamonds and Torquay.
The Danish Under-21 international's contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
He's also broken into the Denmark Under-21 squad, so he's had a very good season
Director of football Nick Hammond
Director of football Nick Hammond told the club's website: "Mikkel has progressed very well this season and with his contract coming up in the summer it was important to get this new deal agreed and signed.
"He has had a number of games on the bench for us and gave a very good performance on loan at Brentford as well.
"He's also broken into the Denmark Under-21 squad, so he's had a very good season."
The 6ft 5ins keeper was signed in January 2007 from AB Copenhagen for an undisclosed fee.
