Rangers face a busy fixture schedule with eight games in January. Walter Smith's side face Celtic on 2 January before entertaining Dundee United three days later.
They travel to St Mirren on 8 January and face East Stirlingshire in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox on the 12th. They then face Gretna away on 16 January.
A trip to face Inverness on 20 January is followed by a home match against St Mirren on 26 January and a CIS Cup semi-final against Hearts on the 30th.
The match away to St Mirren was postponed following a request from then Scotland boss Alex McLeish to protect his players ahead of last month's crucial Euro 2008 qualifier against Italy.
And Buddies boss Gus MacPherson is not best pleased with the rearranged fixture.
"We got a game called off as we were trying to help the national team," he told his club's website.
"Now we find that our supporters have been punished, as in the middle of a tough programme of games for them financially they are being asked to stump up for another game.
"I appreciate that there aren't many available slots due to Rangers' involvement in the Uefa Cup and that they will play the following midweek against Gretna.
"But there has been no thought given for the St Mirren supporters at a time of year when finances are tight."
Rangers were also successful with their request to have the SPL game against Gretna at Fir Park postponed ahead of last week's Champions League clash with Lyon.
The Ibrox club are second in the SPL table with 34 points from 15 games, two points behind Celtic with two games in hand.
