Smith thought his side had a slice of luck at the goal

"After a week like that, it was a big win for us," Smith told BBC Sport after a mistake by goalkeeper Eduardas Kurskis handed Rangers a winning goal.

"It was important that we got the win after the European defeat in midweek.

"We got a bit of luck in terms of a goalkeeping error, but we won't complain after the week we have had."
