Billy Stark has steered Queen's Park to Division Two |
Queen's Park head coach Billy Stark says he has not been contacted by Partick Thistle - despite being linked with the managerial vacancy. Stark led the Spiders to Division Two after defeating East Fife in this season's promotion play-off final.
"I've not hear anything and that would be quite proper because I am under contract at Queen's Park," said Stark.
Caretaker boss Jimmy Bone has been in charge since Dick Campbell was sacked in March after a run of poor results.
Stark said guiding the Spiders to promotion from Division Three this term was the highlight of his career.
Queen's Park defeated East Fife 7-2 on aggregate in the Division Two play-off final.
Asked whether he would be interested in the Thistle vacancy, Stark told BBC Sport: "I think football is such that when you are doing well your star is on the rise, and when you're not, you're not as attractive to people.
"From that point of view, I don't think it's that surprising. I certainly haven't heard anything official."
