Chisholm's side face an uphill struggle in Denmark in two weeks
Queen of the South manager Gordon Chisholm expressed his disappointment at his side's Uefa Cup qualifying 2-1 defeat to Nordsjaelland at Broomfield.
The Doonhamers went down to an early goal in the first leg second round qualifiers against the Danes, and Chisholm said it was hard to take.
"We were prepared, we set out the team and the one thing I wanted was a clean sheet," said Chisholm.
"To lose a goal in two minutes gave us a mountain to climb."
Sean O'Connor headed a 28th-minute leveller to put Queens back in the tie, but slack marking cost the First Division side two away goals and gives the club a mountain to climb when the clubs meet again in two weeks.
But Chisholm has not given up hope for the second leg in Denmark after Queens pushed back their opponents in the second period.
"We have had chances, in the second half I thought we were going to get an equaliser," said Chisholm.
"I thought we deserved a draw.
"I was pleased with a lot of players tonight and we certainly didn't let ourselves down.
"It's going to be difficult yes, but impossible no."
