Waddock takes over from Ian Holloway as QPR manager |
Gary Waddock has been appointed QPR manager on a full-time basis. The 44-year-old has been in temporary charge since Ian Holloway was put on gardening leave on 6 February.
Holloway, however, has now been appointed manager of Plymouth, meaning the assistant boss can now officially take over as manager.
He told the club website: "I am delighted that QPR have finally been able to officially announce my position as first-team manager."
He added: "I've got a great backroom staff and we've been planning the coming season all summer.
"The work ethic and training methods will be subjected to a complete overhaul and we're looking forward to seeing the results on the pitch."
