Promotion-chasing Preston have signed Watford midfielder Lee Williamson on loan for the rest of the season.
Williamson, 26, will also be eligible to play if North End, who are currently seventh in the Championship table, reach the play-offs.
He moved to Watford from Rotherham in January 2007 as part of a joint switch with striker Will Hoskins.
Williamson has made 78 appearances for the Hornets, including 38 this season, and has scored five goals for the club.
