Preston North End have signed Brighton goalkeeper Wayne Henderson for an initial fee of �150,000, reports BBC Southern Counties Radio. The Seagulls could earn a further �50,000 for the 23-year-old depending on the number of appearances he makes.
Henderson, a Republic of Ireland international has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Meanwhile, Preston have also signed Gambia captain Seyfo Soley from Belgian club Genk for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, recently spent time training with North End.
He does not require a work permit as he has a European passport.
However, leaving Deepdale is former Northern Ireland striker Andy Smith, 26, whose contract has been cancelled by mutual consent.
