 Simpson says Mellor's problem is not related to his previous injury |
Preston striker Neil Mellor is to see a specialist to determine the extent of the knee problem which he recently picked up in a reserve game. North End boss Paul Simpson insists it is not related to the previous knee injury which troubled him at Liverpool.
"He'll see a specialist on Friday afternoon and he's got a problem with his right knee," Simpson said.
"He won't be available for Saturday and Tuesday's games (against Sunderland and Ipswich) but we'll see after that."
